Destin Winter Classic Information Page
The entry fee for the '10 Destin Winter Classic is TBA per 2 man team. Included is the annual Saturday evening pairings party at The Emerald Bay Golf Club following 2nd round play. Plan to attend as there will be door prizes, but you must be there to collect. Each golf club will also have a closest to the flag contest; this certificate must be redeemed at the golf club where it was won. This is an amateur tournament and you will need a certified handicap.
Each team will play scratch within their Division; The Division you will be in depends on your team's total handicap; each player's handicap within their team MUST be within 7 strokes of each other; following 2nd round play, teams will be placed in flights depending on their total scores from rounds one and two; play will be scratch within the flights. There will be a senior flight within each division; each player within the senior flight team must be 55 years old or older.

There will be a 10:00 AM shotgun start each day for all courses/divisions.

Gift certificates will be presented following Sunday's play, and can be redeemed at any of the participating courses; the amount of the certificates will depend on the number of participants in your division/flight. Future playoffs will be as follows: 1st place ties all flights will be an on course playoff; all other ties will be decided as follows: lowest score on Sunday; if still tied, lowest score on Saturday; if still tied, last 9 holes on Sunday; if still tied, hole by hole scorecard playoff starting backwards from hole #18. If the two tied teams wish to just split the amount of the certificate instead of a playoff, they can - just issue new certificates.
